Why This Blog Doesn’t Cover Family

It’s not just that I live alone, nor is it that I don’t think about family (and friends and others), but that I don’t generally like discussing personal details of other people’s lives in a public forum, or for a wide audience. Politics is another matter, but I don’t have family in politics, so it’s a non issue.

I would nonetheless like to give a shout out to my oldest nephew for learning from his mistakes and, with help, really making awesome changes for the better.

I’ve had quite an interesting (read challenging) life and managed to do some pretty good work despite all of that. On this site, however, I am mostly focused on topics that are either personal or political, rather than ‘real work’ like firmware development, web development, work history, and the various professional and hobby activities that are what far too many folks see as the only things that make a person’s life valuable or make a person’s life matter.
